“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”

A Passion for Marketing

With over 15 years of experience as a marketing and sales leader, I am fortunate that my career has presented opportunities to develop additional expertise.  I’m well versed in operations, business development, training, talent acquisition, and event management.

I’ve worked in the for-profit and non-profit sectors as well as enterprise and startup environments. As an autodidact by nature, I have a keen interest in the latest technologies and tools. I continue to seek opportunities where my acumen for solving complex brand problems with creative efficiency will make a positive impact.

Volunteerism and service play a huge role in my life. Whether it’s helping a friend write a stand-out résumé or an international tech company develop a compelling brand strategy, I love to connect people and resources in meaningful ways. Professionally, I served as the Vice President of Mentorship on the Colorado Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association (AMA) where I laid the groundwork for a sustainable mentorship program. I continue to mentor up-and-coming marketers and focus much of my free time on empowering women through career coaching. Personally, I feed my appetite for adventure by traveling locally and internationally with friends, family, and my yellow Lab, Cairo.

I enjoy speaking in the local community about technology, digital marketing, career transition, leadership, and other passion projects. Check out my spark talk, Square Peg, Round Hole at Ignite Denver 23.  I've also shared my perspective at events like Colorado AMA’s Personal Branding Panel, University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business Marketing Mock Interview Panels and the national Tech Jobs Tour. Please visit the Community page to learn more about my local, national and international connections.

Thanks for taking the time to learn a bit about me. I welcome opportunities to connect, so please get in touch to let me know how I can help you.
